HOLY COW Y’ALL!!
This is crazy cool! I was in the studio all this morning and had no clue until my phone started blowing up:
“Danielle Nicole Nominated for TWO 2025 Blues Music Awards!!” I am floored to have been nominated for Contemporary Blues Female AND the coveted Instrumentalist - Vocals 😱 I remember attending and performing at my first awards back in 2009 and being absolutely overwhelmed with the entire scene. All the legends were there and it was still like one huge family. Over the years, I’ve attended quite a few getting to see legends and precious moments like B.B. King and Bonnie Raitt presenting and Susan and Derek jamming acoustically.
